New Mexico Cannabis Patients Alliance | Medical Cannabis Program (MCP)

435

Sometimes it makes me wonder who’s behind all of the misdirected attention that the Medical Cannabis Program (MCP) is getting; people pushing their personal agendas, pointing fingers at other dispensaries, or just a general lack of accurate information?  All while neglecting the what really matters…New Mexico Patients!

With more than 20,000 patients in the program, media coverage should be focused on them & the many positive properties of this miracle plant and not just the topics of; politics, law enforcement, political contributions, LNPP’s personal agendas and tax revenue. Almost no journalists, reporters, or newscasters are reporting on the importance of the Patient’s Concerns, Issues and Discrimination.

Legalization is well underway nationwide, yet without looking at the whole picture for our state, how do we expect to accurately report on our medical program, gather the correct data and get the real concerns of the patients through to the DOH/MCP?

The primary topics that need focusing on are;
– The Personal Production License (PPL) Restriction
– Lack of Pesticide Labeling
– Standardized Testing
– Neglected Routine Dispensary Inspections of Greenhouse practices and compliance on the 70% Concentration Cap
– Patients losing their jobs, or not being able to apply for jobs at all in some case,
– Custody Cases
– The lengthy time & high cost to receive a MCP card especially for Critical Patients
– Housing Restrictions for our Patients and Growers (PPL)
– Getting Safe Access to Rural NM

We are in dire need of Community, Medical and Political Education and need to have real discussions to reach Sensible & Pragmatic Solutions to all of these problems — without the folly of discrimination or the inaccurate portrayal of suffering patients, who are just in need of their medicine.
These are the REAL TOPICS PATIENTS ARE BEING FACED WITH DAILY!
Thank you for choosing us! We Appreciate your Business!
